Job Description Summary

Manage resources (equipment and personnel) and activities required for the manufacturing operations to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives. Maintains authority over budget and scheduling. Ownership of the entire production / operation with support of different function ( EHS, Quality, Engineering, Production Control).
In this role you will be reporting to the Production Director.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the production area (repair area with ~100 persons)

• Ensure that all manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, safely, in good quality and in time

• Responsible for creating and maintaining a productive work environment, improving employee satisfaction

• Responsible for the development of his subordinates

• Detail / coordinate capacity & capability needs associated with the volume.

• Initiate and lead projects to improve deliverables.

• Drive the productivity improvements in the line with the support of engineering department.

• Promotion of innovation and improvements to increase safety, quality, production efficiency and to reduce cycles. Implement Lean initiative and establish the culture of 5S and Kaizen through Employee suggestions.

• Control of inventory level and continuous improvement of turnover.

• Responsible for the cost controlling of the line.

• Communicate and execute company goals, policies, and procedures in the workplace

What you’ll bring

• University/College degree in a related field such as Engineering, Industrial Engineer (Management or Business Administration desired)
• Significant experience as process leader
• Strong understanding of machining and fabrication. Ideally in high tech materials
• Excellent communication skills in Hungarian AND in English
