Job Description Summary
What impact you’ll make?In this role, you will further improve our component repair processes and lead a high-performing team (~250 people), elevating your career while keeping the world powered as you take charge of our gas turbine component repair facility to drive the next generation of service excellence. You will provide strategic leadership of production operations, assuming all operational responsibility for safety, quality, fulfillment, and cost, while spearheading progress on major business initiatives—primarily Lean—and supporting efforts for functional cost productivity and continuous quality improvement.
You will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Achieve highest levels of internal and external customer servic• Coordinate resources to achieve goals within a timely and cost-effect strategy,
- Define COE vision, growth strategy and goals/objectives • Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans.
- Coordinate activities between cell and group leaders to maximize safety, quality and productivity
- Guarantee the end products quality
- Employ Lean rigors to all functions
- Mentor and motivate team in quality, productivity and performance,
- Drive change and improvement in manufacturing process,
- Coordinate and assist in establishing activities of Manufacturing Engineers to impact all areas of the operation
- Immediately shut down the operation when realized life or serious injury risk present.
- Maintain a safe environment for the people in the CoE and create/maintain and open reporting environment
- ISO 9001 standard compliance
- Lead the CoE team and support personal and team improvements through appropriate tools and personal coaching
- Meet goals and objectives of all CoE related KPIs, track results periodically and define actions if needed
- Create and execute the vision and strategy of the CoE
- Define and lead improvements projects, allocate resource and time for action work outs
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor / Masters of Science degree: Technical, Manufacturing or Process Engineering preferred
- Major manufacturing and leadership experience and training,
- Fluent English AND Hungarian knowledge is essential
- Solid understanding of computers and process digitization
- MRP systems experience and knowledge.
