Responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Roles and Responsibilities
Support for order booking, revenue recognition and cash management
Focused on internal customer (PM or SM)
Principal support role of the Project and Services team
Responsible for all aspects of creating, structuring and maintaining projects in SAP.
R3 meeting support to enable cross functional input to project structure.
Set children WBS and SO for HW, SW and SVS.
Assist billing team with invoicing. Create cancel/rebill WF’s if needed (understand country specific rules for cancelling invoices, etc)
Request invoices and credit notes, support PM / SM and disputes resolution.
Understand the IBS process for billing internal orders.
Regional country Specific Tax invoicing support - point of contact with Tax Team
Regional Statutory audit support for internal and external audits – SOX, ISO, KPMG etc
Support development of financial instruments on a project by project basis such as country specific Letters of Credit, BGs etc
PO requisition for material, external suppliers and Manage good receipts when necessary (LATAM, Services only)
Manage exportation Invoice Process aligned with Supply Chain.
Understand rev rec lag rules for recognizing revenue each quarter (Ship Dates Vs Rev Rec Dates)
Run project through TECO checklist to make sure there are no outstanding issues (financial and project completion checks)
Drive resolution with SM/ PM´s to correct project defects
Support PM´s on project metrics to decrease unbilled and past due receivables – cash Management
PO requisition for services/materials via Ariba Customer Database Creation –advance user of KYC process
Assist in getting customers set-up in SAP
Required Qualifications
For roles based in the United States, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and experience in Project Management team support and/or project or material planning
Experience with SAP project setup and maintenance - Demonstrated ability to create, structure, and maintain projects in SAP, including WBS elements and Sales Orders (SO) for hardware and services
Cross-functional coordination - experience coordinating with teams such as Tax, Billing, Supply Chain, Project Managers, and Service Managers
Desired Characteristics
Strong attention to detail - able to manage cross-functional project handovers, identify defects, and complete project setup through closeout/TECO actions without missing key issues
Strong internal customer support orientation - Comfortable serving as a key support partner to Project Managers and responding quickly to operational needs
Ability to manage multiple process-driven tasks - Comfortable handling several concurrent responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment, especially around quarter-end order bookings, revenue recognition and invoicing activities
Ability to build strong working relationships across geographically dispersed teams

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $69,600.00 and $104,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
