Job Description Summary
As part of customer-related equipment, facilities, or infrastructure projects, the Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing all project-related activities and resources, ensuring timely execution, financial performance, and compliance with contractual and quality requirements. While operating with a degree of autonomy, the Project Manager is guided by company policies and is expected to ensure results meet defined standards in terms of quality, volume, and timeliness.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead assigned projects from handover/kick-off to closure, managing both technical and commercial aspects
Monitor and report key project performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, forecast accuracy, margin, on-time delivery, invoicing, and cash collection
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, standards, and internal processes
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal departments; lead action plans and recovery initiatives when required
Engage regularly with customers, partners, contractors, and consultants to align on project status and expectations
Track all third-party obligations including customer and consortium partner requirements
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities in a timely and proactive manner
Deliver project milestones on schedule to avoid or minimize exposure to liquidated damages
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the execution phase
Supervise preparation and submission of customer documentation, including approval processes
Comply with company and local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and demonstrate leadership in EHS practices
Maintain accurate project data in internal project execution tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management or field operations in the transformer or energy sector
Strong verbal and written skills in English and native speaking skills in Turkish
The ability to travel abroad; less than 10%
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools
Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli
Willing to work at Gebze plant
Desired Characteristics
- Strong verbal and written skill in French
- Strong leadership and ownership in managing end-to-end project lifecycles
- Experience in E&C works is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results under pressure
- Solid organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration across teams
- Customer-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and service excellence
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and maintain a proactive, solution-driven attitude
- Technical knowledge and experience on site work of transformers and reactors, like erection commissioning site tests and troubleshooting is a plus
