Job Description Summary
Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. The Senior Sourcing Manager – Strategic Initiatives drives enterprise-wide sourcing efforts, leads GenAI initiatives, and executes high-visibility projects. This role partners closely with the Business Unit Sourcing Leaders, and cross-functional leaders to design and implement strategic programs that elevate sourcing maturity, streamline processes, and leverage technology to drive procurement excellence.The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder management to lead initiatives spanning strategy, analytics, process transformation, digital enablement, capability building, sustainability, and risk management.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing strategic initiatives from concept to execution, including but not limited to GenAI projects, risk management, commodity playbooks, should-costing, and process excellence agendas
- Lead cross-functional initiatives on digital and GenAI enablement, from use case development to deployment, learning sessions, and change management
- Develop and deliver high-quality materials for executive engagements, supplier conferences, board meetings, ELT reviews, leadership meetings
- Lead and execute CPO-level governance, including but not limited to Sourcing Council meetings, All-Employee meetings, staff meetings, and other executive forums
- Lead and facilitate people and capability building initiatives, such as GenAI learning sessions, talent upskilling trainings, sourcing foundation trainings
- Conduct procurement maturity assessments across all Business Units and proactively engage sourcing leaders to drive continuous improvement
- Serve as thought partner to leadership by synthesizing insights, benchmarking industry best practices, and identifying future growth opportunities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related discipline
- For Roles in USA: 10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement Strategy, or Management Consulting, ideally within industrial or energy sectors
- For Roles Outside of the USA: Significant experience in Sourcing, Procurement Strategy, or Management Consulting, ideally within industrial or energy sectors
- Proven track record in driving cross-functional transformation programs with measurable business impact
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision making, digital tools, and process optimization
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for executive-level engagement
- Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously
- Ability to influence across matrixed organization and manage multiple stakeholders globally
- Experience with lean, category management, cost modelling, digital procurement, automation, and data analytics is a plus

Relocation Assistance Provided: No
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $208,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
