In this role, you will partner closely with the direct sales team to provide technical and solution expertise across Grid Software offerings, with a primary focus on Advanced Energy Management Systems (AEMS) and Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) within the GridOS portfolio.
You will play a key role in promoting the value of GridOS solutions, helping customers across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East unlock efficiency, reliability, and innovation in their energy systems.
This position offers a strong level of autonomy, with opportunities to contribute to and execute commercial strategies. It requires sound commercial judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to influence customer decisions and drive successful business outcomes.
Job Description Summary
Drive impactful outcomes by supporting the sales organization in achieving key business objectives across GE Vernova’s Electrification Software portfolio.In this role, you will partner closely with the direct sales team to provide technical and solution expertise across Grid Software offerings, with a primary focus on Advanced Energy Management Systems (AEMS) and Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) within the GridOS portfolio.

Job Description
What you'll do:
- A trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team. Aligns capabilities to specific outcomes, creates reference architectures, and calculates potential solution value.
- Strong understanding of power system operation — generation, transmission, and distribution fundamentals.
- Hands-on knowledge in at least SCADA protocols, and functions. EMS, DMS, and WAMS knowledge would be advantageous ,
- Knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
What you'll bring:
- Batchelor's degree in Power Systems or Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience of Transmission and Distribution Grid Applications, within a utility or similar business to GE Vernova - Electrification Software business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a customer facing role
What will make you standout:
- Amazon AWS Cloud Practioner or Azure Equivalent
- Previous experience in a client facing role
- Ability to converse in Arabic to a business level
- Interest in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the grid sector
