Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Specialist to manage sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing high-quality materials and services at competitive prices, optimizing supplier performance, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency and driving continuous improvement.

Job Description

Sourcing & Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure favourable terms and ensure supply continuity.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments.

Procurement Operations:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from request for quotation (RFQ) to purchase order issuance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and timelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and resolve any supply or quality issues.

Cost Management & Negotiation:

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead time and payment terms to achieve cost savings and minimize risk.

Compliance & Process Improvement:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and generate procurement reports for management.
  • Support audit processes and documentation requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization across the procurement function.

Education & Experience:

·        Diploma in supply chain management, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.

·        3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

·        Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

·        Excellent communication, organizational, follow up abilities and analytical skills

  • Ability to work in manufacturing and fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
