Job Description Summary
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:Lead management of standardization and streamlining of all SAP BASIS activities for current and next generation technology implementations for SAP ERPs. Manage project deliverables, process improvement, strategy implementation, and build process automation with quality and in time. Lead system landscape management, migrations, consolidations, upgrades, and obsolescence of technology stack for SAP ERPs. Analyze requirements, propose solutions, lead technical design and architecture as well as implementation of SAP ERP technology stack and supporting bolt-on ecosystem technology stacks running on-prem and AWS cloud platforms. Manage system landscape strategy and optimization, including design and realization of solutions such as high availability, disaster recovery, state of the art proactive monitoring and error handling for ERP ecosystem. Design, configure and deploy ERP integrations across multi-cloud platforms and identity providers using secured, resilient and industry trusted best practices. Work with application and security teams to promptly address security vulnerability issues protecting ERP applications, database, infrastructure, and technology stack. Participate in technology advisory groups, data governance council, technology guilds to support the development data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. Design, develop and automate SAP deployments, create structures to enable adoption of cloud formation templates for creating programmable infrastructure on demand. Monitor and control costs of technology solutions deployed at hyperscalers. Coach and mentor team members.
Job Description
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. Six (6) years of experience in SAP BASIS Architecture, SAP Basis Administration, SAP Basis Consultancy, or a combination thereof. Work experience to include: SAP on AWS Cloud and SAP HANA Architecture Design; SAP High Availability and Disaster Recovery; Six (6) years of experience with SAP NetWeaver or SAP ERP; Six (6) years of experience with SAP Solutions Manager, SAP Enterprise Portal, and PI; Six (6) years of experience with SAP Migrations and Upgrades; Six (6) years of experience with SAP BASIS administration in virtualized environments; Two (2) years of experience with SAP MDM, SRM, CRM, and TREX; and Four (4) years of experience with SAP on Oracle, MS-SQL, or HANA. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement. Candidate may work remotely three (3) days per week, within 15 miles of company location in Schenectady, NY. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $130,229-$186,500 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 10% variable incentive compensation.
