Job Description Summary
As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing the financial aspects of the supply chain operations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, supply chain dynamics, and strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve working capital efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enhance overall financial performance within the supply chain operations.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of the entire supply chain, including but not limited to supplier costs, transportation expenses, inventory carrying costs, and working capital metrics.
- Utilize financial models and tools to assess the financial health and performance of suppliers, distributors, and other partners in the supply chain.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Working Capital Management
- Monitor and manage working capital metrics such as Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Develop strategies to optimize working capital, balancing the need for liquidity with cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement working capital improvement initiatives.
Supplier Risk Assessment:
- Assess the financial stability and risk profile of suppliers and vendors.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Monitor market trends and external factors that could impact supplier financial stability
Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction within the supply chain, such as optimizing transportation routes, negotiating supplier contracts, and improving inventory management.
- Work closely with procurement teams to analyze cost structures and identify areas for efficiency gains.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality and service levels are maintained.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate key supply chain financial metrics to stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and procurement teams to align financial goals with supply chain objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to supply chain finance.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial processes within the supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance, preferably with a focus on supply chain finance or operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Tableau).
Desired Characteristics
- (Master's degree preferred).Deep understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of working capital management, cost accounting, and financial risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
- Certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a face-paced corporate environment with a focus on collaboration

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $83,600.00 and $139,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
