About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Working Student to support our Sourcing Initiative activities for a period of twelve months.

In this role, you will work closely with the Sourcing Initiative Leader and support initiatives aimed at making our sourcing organization more efficient, lean and digitally enabled. You will gain practical experience in sourcing initiatives, process optimization, digital tools, data analysis and the application of AI in a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a part of sourcing team, you will be involved in the following tasks;

  • Assist the team with day-to-day sourcing tasks and administrative activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of leaner and more efficient sourcing processes and standards.
  • Support the implementation of standardized RFQ packages across all business units.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of e-RFQ and digital sourcing processes.
  • Help prepare, test and maintain sourcing templates, tools and process documentation.
  • Support the collection, structuring and analysis of sourcing-related data.
  • Support the acceleration of AI adoption within the Sourcing organization.
  • Identify, test and evaluate AI-based tools and practical use cases for Sourcing.
  • Document successful AI use cases and support their rollout across the organization.
  • Help create guidance, examples and best practices for the effective use of AI in Sourcing.
  • Collect, structure and analyze sourcing-related data.
  • Translate data and findings into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders.

 

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sourcing, digitalization, and process improvement.
  • Analytical and structured way of working.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Smartsheet
  • Data analysis, sourcing, understanding of process and procedures
  • Confident and curious in using and exploring AI tools and applications.
  • Comfortable working with data and learning new digital tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
